Based on the filmography, my predictions for this movie would be the combination of unrealistic beings in a futuristic setting.

  1. Technology: 
    Technology is always going to be prone to some type of error. In this case, referring to the technology used to keep away the dinosaur and the technology used to recreate the dinosaur. 

 

 

  1. Man vs. Nature: 

Should the T-Rex really be in trouble for what it probably would have done 65 million years back? Man brought the dinosaurs back into existence, along with all the consequences from the Jurassic period. 

 

 

  1. What emotion does the film clip evoke in its audience? 

The film evokes a feeling of terror and awe at the same time. There’s a massive T-rex walking around, and it seems to have some smarts as it walks around slowly trying to find the humans who are hiding and shaking in fear.

  1. Mise-en-scene (lighting, costuming, setting, props, etc.) 

                 The background is night, and the lights of the enclosure give a sickly white glow, as well as the rain pouring down. 

 

  1. Cinematography (camera movement and composition) 

               Frequent Medium shots and Close ups of characters and the lower body of the T-rex show suspense. 

 

  1. Editing (cutting, rhythm/pacing) 

           The rhythm of the T-rex stomping around, the slow rainfall, and the slight camera movement all give way to the suspense. 

 

  1. Sound 

There’s sound effects of the T-Rex and the rainfall, mainly natural sounds, that really brings out the scene’s fear energy.
