An Understanding of Cinematic Language:

Cinematic Language is seen most noticeably in films and entertainment and is used to describe the various forms of methods used to communicate with the audience. Cinematic Language consists of a wide range of vocabulary in order to describe said methods used to reach out to viewers. For example, in a film, there are different parts of scenes that may "zoom in" or alter their viewpoint. These are all different forms of "shot types" and they co-inside with cinematic language. The shot type called "dolly-in" makes it so that the camera slowly pans into the person or object of interest. This may increase suspense as it makes the object of interest more important and significant for the scene. Cinematic Language is not only a combination but an explanation for what goes on to make up every piece of a film. For every different method used to create films and movies, there is a vocabulary word suited to explain just exactly what happened, how it is made to affect the audience and the effect it brings towards the film itself.
